For almost two decades, the Chattanooga Market continues to be the largest non-profit, producer-only farmers and artists market in the region.  With a combined reach of over 400,000 visitors annually, we are a tourist destination, a family gathering spot and the best known place to shop for fresh produce, artisan foods, and arts & crafts.   In 2011, Chattanooga Market was named by Frommer’s as one of the top 10 public markets in the country.  In 2013 we were listed as #2 by Livability.com and are consistently recognized in local, regional and national publications.

A 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, the mission of the Chattanooga Market is to promote the exchange of fresh, quality, local food, bringing together growers and artisans who produce the highest quality goods in the area.  Our unique concept creates an environment that contributes to a prosperous downtown and promotes a sense of community websites.

Every Sunday of the season boasts over 130 artisans offering their unique crafts, arts, jewelry, woodworks, artisan foods, natural health & beauty products, and so much more. Chattanooga Market features over 50 farms and food artisans each week bringing a variety of produce, breads, meats, cheeses and more while keeping the selection varied and fresh.  Live music is always a staple with local and region musicians offering market patrons two free performances weekly. Local eateries and food trucks have become a hot spot for lunch, serving thousands of patrons fresh, unique meals and treats. And importantly, most weekly themes involve a local, regional or national charity partner tie-in, offering fundraising opportunities and additional exposure for all partners involved.
